Acquisitions

We buy brands to build them.

Rep Labs acquires ecommerce brands with unique products, proven demand, and room to scale. We're not flippers. We bring the full ecosystem — advertising, fulfillment, creative, and capital — and run every brand we acquire the way we'd run our own.

Acquisition criteria

What makes a good fit.

We're disciplined about what we buy. The criteria below are the floor — we'll always tell you honestly where your brand sits against them.

The ideal acquisition

A brand we'd quietly proud to operate.

  • Unique or innovative consumer product with clear IP, proprietary edge, or strong market differentiation
  • $1M+ annual revenue (exceptions considered for exceptional products)
  • Lean SKU catalog — typically under 50 SKUs
  • Profitable but underperforming — especially on the marketing and operations side
  • Ecommerce-first or strong D2C presence
  • Categories we know: consumer products, health & wellness, fitness, outdoor, accessories, food & beverage
We also look at

Brands with something worth saving.

We actively consider distressed assets — brands with strong products but bloated overhead, poor operational structure, or marketing that hasn't been optimized.

If the brand has something worth saving and the costs can be cut, we want to hear about it. Some of our strongest portfolio additions started here.

Our approach

Transparent terms. Long-term commitment.

We offer industry-standard EBITDA multiples — typically around 3×, adjusted based on growth trajectory, category, operational complexity, and strategic fit. We're honest about our math and open about how we arrive at our numbers.

Fair multiples
~3× EBITDA standard, adjusted for strategic factors. Transparent offer process.

We walk through the math line by line. No surprise adjustments at closing.

Full ecosystem
Your brand gets the full Rep Labs platform from day one.

Advertising, fulfillment, creative, and operational capital — all under one roof.

Long-term operators
We build, not flip. Every acquisition is a long-term commitment.

If we buy your brand, our intention is to run it for years — not flip it inside 18 months.

Every brand we acquire is one we plan to build for the long haul.
Process

From first conversation to close.

Most processes take 60–120 days. We move quickly when there's a fit, and we're honest early when there isn't.

02 Letter of intent
~2 weeks. Indicative range, structure, and timeline.
03 Diligence
~4–6 weeks. Financial, operational, supply chain, marketing.
04 Definitive agreement
~2–4 weeks. Final terms, legal, transition plan.
05 Close and transition
Brand moves onto the Rep Labs platform. We carry the team forward.
